Although every skin tone is different, we have created a selection of products to provide a natural looking glow to suit every skin tone – whether you’re looking for an instant fix for one night only, a sunkissed everyday glow or a bronzed streak-free tan that lasts for days. A general definition has been created below to help direct your client to their most suitable tan:

SOLUTION 60 - Love having a tan but hate the developing time? Then Solution 60 is the one for you! This express solution provides a gorgeous colour from just 60 minutes, allowing you to choose your shade. Leave on for at least 60 minutes before showering for a light tan and 2-3 hours for a medium/darker tan.

INSTANT TAN
 - No time to let your tan develop? No problem... just use our Instant Wash off glow for a professional sun-kissed colour in seconds. This no-commitment tan should last for up to 24 hours, simply apply with an LW Mitt and wash off as desired. Ideal for first time tanners, fair skin tones or for a one-off special occasion.

GRADUAL TAN
 - A body moisturiser with a touch of bronze that you can build upon daily to achieve your desired depth of colour, with no need to wash off. Our Gradual Tan is available in our Medium range and is ideal for first time tanners or regular tanners who are looking to top up their tan with product that fits into their daily skin care routine. Use our Gradual Tan in place of your usual moisturiser once a day or every other day as desired to maintain an everyday natural looking tan.

SELF TAN BRONZING LOTION – provides an instant colour to guide application using an LW Mitt. This lotion requires a one-off application, which you allow to develop over 4-8 hours before showering off to reveal a natural looking, streak-free bronzed tan that should last up to 3-7 days. The Self Tan Bronzing Lotion is ideal for weekly or occasional tanners and available in our Medium, Dark & Darker Than Dark range, dependant on the desired colour your client wishes to achieve.

SELF TAN BRONZING MOUSSE – is a velvety soft, light, self tan formula. Easy to apply, this Mousse provides a silky smooth glow which dries quickly and provides the instant bronzed that look your client’s desire! The quick drying formula allows your client to wear the tan out immediately, should they wish. Self Tan Bronzing Mousse is ideal for weekly or occasional tanners, or even for immediate use. This product is available in our Medium & Darker than Dark Range.

SELF TAN GLAM TAN - is a spray formula. The spray technology allows for easy and even application. Your customers can enjoy the benefits of a spray tan from the comfort of their own home! This spray formula requires a one-off application, which you allow to develop over 4-8 hours before showering off to reveal a deep, beautiful bronzed, natural looking, streak-free tan that can last up to 7 days. The Self Tan Glam Tan is ideal for weekly or occasional tanners and available in our Dark & Darker than Dark Range.

PREP & MAINTAIN
 - Maintain your Self or Gradual tan for longer using our Tan Enhancing Body Moisturiser and exfoliate twice a week with our Tan Enhancing Body Polish for no-streaks and an even fade. 


To simplify the Client journey we have also introduced 3 varying strengths of our Tan to include:

MEDIUM - The LW Medium range is recommended for fair/medium skin tones and first-time tanners! Leaving a subtle, yet gorgeous sun kissed colour.

DARK - The LW Dark range is recommended for medium/olive skin tones and lovers of a spray tan. Dark gives a deep, beautiful bronzed colour.

DARKER THAN DARK - The LW Darker Than Dark range is recommended for olive/darker skin tones and experienced tanners! Darker Than Dark gives a deeply bronzed, intense colour.

The mousse and lotion formula give the same result colour wise but the main difference between them is the texture of the product. The mousse is a soft foam and the lotion is a silky liquid formula. Both are easy to apply and give streak free and even results when applied with a LW tanning mitt. It is really down to personal preference and which formula you prefer working with.

For fair skinned ladies we recommend using a tan from our medium range such as the medium mousse, medium lotion or gradual tan. The mousse and lotion formulas provide a natural looking sun kissed glow and the gradual tan allows you to build up to your desired colour.

Yes, although our products use all natural ingredients if you've never used tan or our products before we do recommend you conduct a patch test first.

For streak free results ensure your skin is correctly prepped before applying the tan. Wax or shave at least 24 hours prior and exfoliate skin with LW Body Polish the day before to remove dead skin for a silky soft base. Pay particular attention to dryer areas such as elbows, knees, ankles and feet. Do not wear any deodorant, perfume, lotions or body oils as these will react with the tan. For best results always use a LW tanning mitt to apply the tan.

Moisturiser can act as a barrier therefore we do not advise moisturising immediately before applying your tan, however a small amount of our LW Tan Enhancing Moisturiser can be applied to dry areas of skin such as elbows, knees and ankles to avoid the tan clinging and appearing darker on these areas.

Apply the product (spray, lotion or mousse) onto the LW Tanning Mitt and sweep onto skin from top to toe and ensure all skin is well covered. Apply in circular motions and buff in to skin to avoid any streaking - use a mirror to help you see if you've missed any spots. Our Mitt applicator gives even results for a streak-free appearance and the water resistant barrier ensures fingers remain unstained as you apply your tan.

All our tans (except the gradual tan) contain a guide colour so you can see exactly where you are applying it and make sure no areas are missed.

All our LW Tan products are suitable to use on the face. If you are worried about applying tan to the face try mixing the tan in with your daily facial moisturiser for a lighter, hydrated look.

LW Tan will dry in as little as 60 seconds so you are able to dress immediately after application. We advise wearing loose fitting clothing after applying the tan.

Once you have applied the tan leave it on to develop for a minimum of 8 hours before showering off - this will allow the tan to develop fully. During this time make sure you don't get wet or sweaty. Once the 8 hours have passed have a quick shower to remove the guide colour and rinse until water runs clear then pat dry the skin.

Whilst the tan is developing the guide colour may rub off onto clothes or bed linen however this will wash off in the machine.

To prolong your tan we recommend taking cool quick showers and pat drying the skin after. If you do take a bath or swim in a pool this will reduce the life span of your tan and it may fade faster.

With the correct prep and maintenance your LW tan can last for up to 7 days before it starts to fade. Prepare skin with our LW Body Polish and after your tan has been applied ensure you moisturise daily with our LW Tan Enhancing Moisturiser. This will keep skin well-nourished and soft which will make sure your tan looks great for as long as possible.

To remove the tan simply exfoliate with LW Body Polish in the shower. Massage the polish in to your skin in circular motions and the tan will fade naturally.

No none of our LW Tans contain sunscreen so we always advise applying sunscreen over the tan when the skin is exposed to the sun.

Yes you can still get a natural tan even if you are wearing fake tan however our tans do not contain sunscreen so always apply this separately.

Please check with your GP for advice before applying the tan if pregnant.

Solution 60 is our fastest ever developing tan that provides a gorgeous colour from just 60 minutes. This express solution is specially formulated to provide a rapid, golden tan, allowing you to choose your shade. Leave on for at least 60 minutes before showering for a light tan and 2-3 hours for a medium/darker tan

The difference between Solution 60 and our 8%, 12% and 16% solutions is that you no longer have to wait the long and dreaded 8 hours for your tan to develop. If you have a last minute party then no problem, just apply Solution 60 a few hours before and you will be left with a gorgeous golden glow. Solution 60 also makes stained bed sheets a thing of the past as you no longer have to let your tan develop overnight.

With Solution 60 you can choose your shade, leave the tan on for 60 minutes before showering for a light tan and 2 – 3 hours for a medium/dark tan.

The colour will be between an 8% - 12% if kept on for 1 -3 hours, however the shade achieved will depend on the natural tone of the skin.

Solution 60 is suitable for all skin types including fair and olive skin tones.

If there is any reason for concern we recommend the client carry's out a patch test 24-48hrs before applying any LW tanning products.
